Privacy Policy

1. What Disciplr is

Disciplr is a trading behavior analytics app. We help traders score their discipline, track behavioral patterns, and identify habits that affect trading performance. Disciplr does not provide financial advice, investment recommendations, or trading signals.

2. What data we collect

When you use Disciplr, we collect:

• Account information: your name and email address
• Trade data you import: trade records from CSV or broker imports
• App usage: pages visited, features used, session timing
• Device information: push notification tokens (optional, for alerts)
• Settings: capital limits, drawdown thresholds you configure

We do not collect or store broker API credentials in plain text. We do not access your brokerage account without your explicit action.

3. How we use your data

• To calculate and display your discipline score and behavioral alerts
• To generate your leaderboard ranking
• To send push notifications for behavioral alerts (only if you opt in)
• To improve the app and fix bugs

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties for advertising.

4. Data retention

Your trade data and scores are retained while your account is active. You can delete all your data at any time from the Settings screen in the app (“Reset all data”). Deleted data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.

5. Third-party services

Disciplr uses the following third-party services:

• Railway — cloud hosting for our API
• Resend — transactional email (waitlist confirmations)
• Expo / Firebase — push notification delivery
• Razorpay — payment processing for PRO/ELITE subscriptions

Each service has its own privacy policy and data handling terms.

6. Security

Passwords are stored using BCrypt hashing. API access is secured with JWT tokens. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. We take reasonable steps to protect your data, but no system is 100% secure.

7. Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of your account at any time by emailing hello@disciplr.app.

8. Children

Disciplr is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of Disciplr after changes constitutes acceptance.
